The TDP Far Infrared heat lamp is unlike any other far infrared heat  lamp. While most lamps use a common infrared bulb, the specially engineered TDP far infrared heat Lamp features a special "black body"mineral emission  plate which is coated with a proprietary mineral formulation consisting of 33 minerals, that are all biologically necessary to the human body. When activated by the built-in electric heating element, the mineral emisssion plate emits a special soothing band of electro-magnetic energy in the far infared range of 2 - 50 microns that penetrates deep into the human body, this magnetic energy simulates the energy waves released by the human body itself.

The TDP Far Infrared Heat Lamp (TDP stands for bio-spectrum energy of the human body in Chinese) is a new type of far-infrared heat lamp invented in China in 1980 by a group of scientists and physicians, headed by Dr. Gou Wenbin at the Chinese Medicine Institute in Chungking.

In clinical applications in China and other Eastern Countries for over 10 years, the TDP far infrared heat lamp has proven itself to be effective in treating ailments such as chronic wounds, joint pain, arthritis, back pain, injuries and some skin conditions like herpes and psoriasis etc. The TDP lamp has been widely used in China to treat over 100 chronic conditions .
